Solar Vizor Fly Mask - With Ear Protection - NEW STYLE

We love our solar visor with ears. It's a great fit and provides great coverage for my gelding with uveitis. It even stands up to the rough housing of his neighbors who try to take it off him daily.

The sun visor does its job! It stays on well, never caves in towards her eyes, protects her from UV and flies, and best of all - makes her look like a big ol' beekeeper!!! She's been using it for a few months now and the only spot showing wear is the velcro flap. I'm being a bit more careful with how I detach the velcro now and I'm sure I'll be able to put a few stitches in later if the fabric fully separates from the velcro.

I’m extremely happy with the SolarVizor. My mare lost one eye to a complication from epithelial immune-modulated keratitis and has the same disease in her remaining eye, and so lives in protective masks full time to protect it. I got the SolarVizor because the Recovery Vizor (which I also love, and protected her eye for many months successfully!) was too hot on her face during the hot and humid heatwaves and generally high summer temperatures we’ve been having, and she was losing the hair on her cheeks and around her ears. Switching to the SolarVizor helped stop the hair loss, and even better has let the hair start to regrow, while continuing to protect from/prevent her rubbing her eye, like the Recovery Vizor did. As a recommendation for other horse owners trying to manage chronic eye conditions via masks in hot weather—I did remove the inner EVA lining to improve airflow, since sweat (and not necessarily UV protection) was my main need. Highly recommend!

I have a paint mare with a large white blaze and pink skin on her nose, bought the fly mask with coverage to help protect her from the sun. She came to me a little toasted but since she’s been wearing the mask that rosey burnt skin has gone away. I love the cut outs for the nostrils and the bands to help her keep the mask on her head! Would happily buy again!

Nemo had cryosurgery for squamous cell carcinomas on his lower eyelid. This solar shield is exactly what he needs to protect his healing eye from sun and bugs. Other masks collapsed, irritating his healing eyelid.

Not only does this mask protect his eyes, the way the nose piece is designed; allows for better air flow. Most masks drape over the nostrils impeding air flow. This mask covers his nose with zero air restriction!!

Very happy with this flymask, its helping my guy heal from a corneal ulcer, with the UV protectant and sturdy brim he cant rub his eye on anything. The size full Is a bit small for him, but he has a larger jaw which I think is whats making it fit a bit small. Overall great flymask.

He is able to have his eyes wide open without his long eye lash being squished like in other masks. Also is an Excellent sun blocker! Some say this masks reminds them of a Holly Hobby bonnet. Wonderful addition to the UV protection line.

We bought this for our rescued steer who recently had eye surgery to remove Squamous Cell Carcinoma. It was incredibly hard to find a mask that would fit our 6’5 boy, but this one is PERFECT! Pony size fit my 13ish hand pony mule just right. She is a pony size in general. Wish they would make donkey or mule ears for these masks. Easy to clean and adjust. I have spares to always have a clean one available.

my Mini Iceman , Who is always looking for something to get in trouble Rubbed his eye and ripped his eyelid . I had the vet come and stitch him up but needed to ensure he would not rub it. I could not find a medical mask with the hard eye cup to protect his eye. SO did some digging on the internet and ordered this sunvisor on friday and it was here on Monday. It did the job even when he rolls over it protected his eyelid till the stitches could be removed in 10 days . Thank you for this wonderful product.

I have been using Solar Vizor on my Appy/TB gelding for years. I love the built in sun block at the top to help shade the eyes. It’s so much more effective than just the mesh. The new nose guard is great since my Appy is prone to sunburn. The extra large fits my Percheron comfortably. The visors are extremely well made and really stand up to long time wear and tear. Customer service has also been outstanding and extremely responsive on the rare times I’ve had an issue. It’s the only fly mask I’ll use!

Our paint mare Diamond has a white face and blue eyes. Our vet always warned us that she had a high chance of getting eye cancer. Sure enough she ended up with it. After having the tumor removed and chemo treatments our vet recommended the Equivizor. We ordered her one and it’s been the best money I ever spent. Ice is a Mini that is into anything a Toddler can get into. So he managed to rip his eyelid and required stitches. I could not find a protective mask that day and when i found your visor I ordered it immediately. Sadly while i waited for the arrival He managed to rip the stitches again. I did have him double masked but they were not good enough. Your masked was ordered on Friday and I received it on Monday. It did the trick so far its been almost a week of wearing your protective Sunvisor and no more incidents. But I should have ordered 2 so I can clean them and have a replacement. The solar visor has been almost a miracle! Out of all the masks we have tried, the beekeeper style has offered the best protection for his eyes and the length of the nose piece helps protect him from sunburn. We alternate the version with the nose and without during the year. I do wish the solar visor with the ears offered the same nose protection for him, but it's a bit too short.

We love this mask for our mare. She has uveitus in both eyes and has been blind for 10 years. The "hoop" around her face keeps the mesh out away from her eyes (hard to get with a regular mask, even with eye darts if she bumps them they can push inward against her eye) and also serves as a bumper to warn her that she's getting too close to something.

Let me tell ya!! This Solar Vizor is my light sensitive and Uvitis prone boys saving grace!!! It is the best product ever for UV protection!! It stays up off his eyes, easy to adjust, excellent quality, comfortable for the horse and most importantly (for me) it STAYS ON!!! This mask is great. My Quarter Pony mare has ERU in both eyes and is completely blind. I love that the mask keeps her from bumping her eyes, keeps bugs and hayseeds out and is comfortable for her. We've had the one in the picture for 3 years and she finally broke the throat latch buckle so I just ordered a new one. She will never be without it!

The cob size fits my 14.2hh Paintaloosa perfectly. It provides excellent protection from the sun for his uveitis, and also stays on all day without him tearing it off like he does to other masks! This is my 7th solar visor mask I’ve purchased for him. They are extremely durable, but do get beat up with daily use of course! I love the new style with the long nose! My mare Aurora has recently been diagnosed with Immune Mediated Uveitis. A fly mask with good UV protection is a must, but she always manages to get a regular fly mask off. After some research I found the Equivisor and it has been perfect! Once adjusted just right she has not been able to get it off, and her eye stays protected.
