EquiVizor Fly Masks come in 5 sizes from Mini to X-Large (Draft). Ensuring your horse has the correct size is KEY to getting the most benefits out of the product.

Follow the guidelines below to help in determining the correct size for your horse.
Measure the size of your horse's FOREHEAD
- This is a combination of 3 Separate Measurements, not a single arc. Follow the steps below and use the picture as your guide:
- This will measure the widest part of your horse's forehead when done correctly. NOTE: Do NOT measure straight across the eyes as the distance will result in a EquiVizor Fly Mask size likely too small for your horse.

How to Apply & Ensure a Correct Fit

Ensuring your fly mask is properly sized to your horse is key to receiving the maximum benefits of its superior design elements.

NOTE: Detailed instructions, tips and product care are included in each order. Should you have any questions, we are always here to help!

Cleaning and Maintenance
- Regularly inspect your horse’s eyes and face as well as clean the mask.
- Rinse out with a hose, or hand wash with mild liquid soap. Rinse well and allow it to air dry only.
- Check Your Fencing: Inspect regularly for sharp edges (i.e. Ag Fencing). This could result in a mask getting hooked or snagged. An easy fix is putting duct tape along the top of that type of fence line. It helps decrease the risk of a mask getting caught/torn.
- Replacement Quick-Release Clips: Clips can be purchased on our website.

This is a reorder - the two I ordered previously are depended on to help my mare have fewer eye flare-ups. These masks are the best. They stay on, help minimize sun, wind and dust impact on eyes. And they are very well made - velcro stays strong, the flare design around eyes is strong and keeps horses from rubbing eyes, and the fabric holds up under daily hose downs and sun drying. Highly recommended.

A friend of mine bought this mask from you a couple years ago and I loved the quality of material, and the design and how well it fit her horse. I ordered one for my Cob size horse, and we both love it. Last year I bought a 12.3 hand pony and purchased one for her. Pink skin, blue eyes, Shetland pony with Cushings. The last thing this little cutie needs is eye problems. The sun and snow are no longer a problem. The visor fits perfectly. He is 14 hh with 10.5 inches from outside corner of eye to outside corner of eye. The Velcro is wide and sturdy. The visor is simple to wash in washer or a quick rinse in the sink. I’m happy with this purchase and believe you will be too.

Two playful 8 year old Arabians that previously could not keep their fly masks on more than a few hours….I was about to give up…..until I tried Equivisor!!!! These masks amazing…..the smaller Arab wears a cob size and the larger Arab wears a horse size…..normally the smaller Arab wears between pony and cob and larger wears between a cob and horse….so they run a hair small….I love that they have a forelock slit instead of a hole so there’s less hair breakage. I think the video speaks for itself on the durability of the masks.

I like the Equivizor Fly Mask . It seems to fit my horse. I made some padded tubes to use on the two straps that buckle it on . And so, rather than cutting the excess strap off , I just feed the extra length through the tube . However, the holes in the EVA lining allow the outer mesh to “ cave in a little.I would like to try riding with it but havent done so yet.

My 26 year old OTTB has been suffering from Uveitis. Normal fly masks are a no go, but so far so good with this one. The mask has successfully stayed on him for a few days now. We did have to use some creativity to control the excess strap material once tightened, but that's easy to do with a barn full of supplies! Best fly mask ever. My horse had eye cancer, and we had surgery to remove the cancer and save her eye sight. Now she needs to wear a UV protection mask at all times when outside. I purchased the Equivisor fly mask over 3 years ago, and my horse wears it everyday she goes out to the field. She is not gentle with her mask, and yet it has held up for three years of daily wear. Finally, the Velcro started to wear out. Because the original mask worked so well, I just ordered a replacement. I feel that the Velcro did pretty well considering that it was put on and taken off daily for 3 years. The UV protection seems to be doing it's job, because the tumor has not returned. I would highly recommend this fly mask.

My white donkey has squamous cell carcinoma in his eye. The Equivizor was recommended by our Veterinarian. It works well to provide UV protection for his eye. My donkeys make a game of pulling fly masks off each other usually in a matter of minutes. You can see that the Equivizor stayed put while the standard fly mask is only somewhat on :-).

Bought for my Arabianx gelding with REUin both eyes. He is in his mid thirties healthy otherwise, but must have UV protection from the sun or his eyes flare up and get painful. I googled Horse Ultra Violet Light Fly Masks and your masks showed up. I ordered one that came with the nose piece. The horse did very well with it until he accidentally got it caught somewhere and broke one of the plastic clasps. However, I noticed that the nostril area got quite dirty as his head is down on the ground to eat, so when I ordered the replacement clasp, I ordered another ultraviolet mask without the nose piece. So far, so good!

My horse has reoccurring Keratitis. It's a battle multiple times a year to bring his eye back to "normal". With the scarring in the eye, he doesn't have full vision to see fine objects being blown around and his eye gets ulcerated as a result. He won't keep on a fly mask. The Equivizor is a game changer. He wears it whenever he is in turnout and it protects his eye from stray objects. His eye looks great! I was having a difficult time keeping a fly mask on my gelding who is required to wear one due to an eye injury. My 34" mule was having eye irritation/infection issues and sunburn on the pink skin around his eyes, but he was fighting me when it came time to put his fly mask on. He seems to really like this one, though. The darts are large enough that his eye lashes aren't poking through the mask like before, and this mask doesn't irritate his sensitive ears. The built in visor also seems to offer some shade. He measured 10", so I bought the pony size instead of the mini, and it fits just right. I simply cut off the extra material on the straps.
