Step 1:
It is important that your horse's feet are clean and dry.
Step 2:
Using a sanding sponge or sanding block, lightly sand the hoof walls to remove the surface film. Be sure to sand all the way to the back of the heels. Repeat on all remaining hooves.
Step 3:
Using Rubbing Alcohol and a soft cloth, wipe off the surface of the hoof to remove all sanding dust and oils. Make sure to reach the very back in the heel area. This will ensure a clean surface for the Horse Hoofies to adhere. After applying, the alcohol will dry quickly. Make sure not to touch the hoof walls with your hands in order to avoid reintroducing oils that could prevent adhesion.
Step 4:
First, see how it fits against the hoof to determine where you might need to trim to ensure the best fit.
Step 5:
After determining the best fit for your horse, trim off the excess Horse Hoofie material.
Step 6:
Use the logo to center the Horse Hoofie. Always keep the Horse Hoofie below the hairline.
Step 7:
Wrap the Horse Hoofie around the foot towards the heels. Apply pressure over the entire surface area ensuring it properly adheres to the hoof.
Step 8:
After the Horse Hoofies are on the foot, they can be lifted up to trim. Ensure you repply with good overall pressure.
Step 1:
Begin to remove by starting at the heel and lifting the edge of the Hoofie.
Step 2:
Grab the edge of the Hoofie and begin to pull. Continue to slowly pull towards the front of the hoof.
Step 3:
Continue pulling as you come around the foot to the opposite heel.
Step 4:
Once you get to the other side, just simply pull the Horse Hoofie all the way off. The hoof wall will be clean and ready to go again!
