EquiVizor Fly Masks come in 5 sizes from Mini to X-Large (Draft). Ensuring your horse has the correct size is KEY to getting the most benefits out of the product.
Follow the guidelines below to help in determining the correct size for your horse.
Measure the size of your horse's FOREHEAD
- This is a combination of 3 Separate Measurements, not a single arc. Follow the steps below and use the picture as your guide:
- Measure from the outer corner of one eye, Up at a slight angle to middle of forehead...
- Then across the middle of your horse's forehead...
- Then straight Down at a slight angle to the outer corner of the other eye.
- This will measure the widest part of your horse's forehead when done correctly. NOTE: Do NOT measure straight across the eyes as the distance will result in a EquiVizor Fly Mask size likely too small for your horse.

Mia had a non healing corneal ulcer, which became infected. She had an SLP inserted to ensure her many eye medications were administered appropriately. The vet left strict instructions for a fly mask to be worn at all times. A friend told me about this product. I was pleased with how quickly it came and how easy it is to get on and off. She hasn’t lost it yet. I bought 2 more for my other horses. The gnats are bad here in South Carolina in the summer.

This is our second Equivizor for my little Rocky Mountain blind horse. It holds up extremely well. It has protected her eyes very well since the darts hold the mask away from the eyes. I’m sure it has saved her from eye injuries multiple times. It has held up several years. It never falls off. Highly recommend. Great value for as long as it lasts.

Took a little bit to get it to fit properly but other than that it's been great! I have a houdini horse who gets EVERY mask off and it's stayed on for 3 days and counting.

My mare was just diagnosed with uveitis. I live in the southeast, so happy to find a mask that is 95%UV blocking as most other masks are ~60%.
My vet recently advised me that my pony needs to wear a high UV protection fly mask year round due to possible uveitis. I got the Equi Visor mask at the recommendation of a friend. I like that it has 95% UV protection, is light weight and can be used both while riding and during turnout. The quality of the materials and construction are very good. My friends horse has been wearing this mask for the past year and it has held up great.
I had a problem with shipping but I emailed them and they were cery nice about it and corrected it quickly. I have a horse with an all white face and he needs nose protection because it can get sun burt and this product has really helped. He also has blue eyes and it has helped protect his eyes also.
I have been buying this type of mask for several years now. We typically go through two a year (he wears them 24/7) and haven't had any major ERU flares since using them. Highly recommend.
So far so great! My warmblood yearling (15mo) is wearing the pony and it fits well. I also got the cob size for when she inevitable outgrows the pony size. She keeps it on and I think genuinely likes wearing it. It's perfect for the desert sand and sun in New Mexico. Especially great for pesky fly season!

These have saved my Horsey's eyes “BIG TIME” He has No natural protection from the sun and his eyes would water and be red and itchy. These masks along with my eye regimen have given my boy Comfort for many years now. Customer service with this company is Impeccable, best I have ever come across I must say! A friend how also has a horse with blue eyes recommended the EquiVisor because it stays on protects the eyes from the UV rays which can cause eye ulcers in cremello horse due to their thin eye lenses. The mask has been super because he cannot get it off and he gets everything off. Very happy with the quality of the materials and how easy it is to adjust and replace parts if he breaks a clip. I am about to order the new SolarVisor as well. Very happy with this product - highly recommended!
After a few days of wearing the mask my horse now looks for me to put it back on after exercise. His face within a few days healed up from being bitten by the no see um bugs that we have here in TX.
I've been a repeat customer for several years. My Diablo is a mask destroyer, even for his EquiVisor, the netting only holds up for a month or two :( But it's the only mask he doesn't get off within a day.
I found these flymasks at Horse Expo. The vendor swore they were Houdini Proof, so since I have a Houdini I spent the extra money and purchased one. It fit beautifully and stayed on...until horse broke a clip. I contacted the vendor and they sent me another clio P That original mask lasted 7 years. I have told everyone to purchase these masks. I recently needed to purchase another mask, so I ponies up and within a few days I had the new mask. I was glad to see that an extra clip was now included! It fits beautifully and my horse is no longer plaqued by nasty cattle face Flys. Again, I tell everyone I know to purchase these extra incredible masks. Forget those $10 cheapest that need constant replacing! Forget the lucrative masks that slip over their eyes and ears- buy these and actually save money!
My horse would always pull his fly mask off. It got to the point where I didn't even bother putting one one. So far he's only got it off once and I believe this is because I did not have the top strap right enough, because I was afraid it would rub. Since tightening the strap he has kept it on and there have been no rubs at the buckle.
I need a mask that blocks UV light for my Paint. The EquiVisor has 95% UV eye protection and it doesn't collapse around his eyes. It is light weight and well made. I am very happy with this mask and so is Norman!
I’ve been getting Equivizor for years now for my mini who has blue eyes with recurring uveitis. She wears it 24/7 and it’s the only mask that works for her. I got this flymask as a backup for summer days when the sun is very strong because her nose sometimes get sunburn. The quality is great and it fits well!
I've been a Protective Pet Solution customer for several years now for my blue eyed double cream mustang. He's a master of removal though, so we've gone through several per year. I had to add ties to the velcro to help keep it on.

We have a Cremello miniature horse. With blue eyes and pink skin he's very sensitive to the sun. He seems to look forward to his Equivizor being put on him each day, they are like sunglasses for him and allow him to enjoy the sunshine.
