EquiVizor Fly Masks come in 5 sizes from Mini to X-Large (Draft). Ensuring your horse has the correct size is KEY to getting the most benefits out of the product.

Follow the guidelines below to help in determining the correct size for your horse.
Measure the size of your horse's FOREHEAD
- This is a combination of 3 Separate Measurements, not a single arc. Follow the steps below and use the picture as your guide:
- This will measure the widest part of your horse's forehead when done correctly. NOTE: Do NOT measure straight across the eyes as the distance will result in a EquiVizor Fly Mask size likely too small for your horse.

How to Apply & Ensure a Correct Fit

Ensuring your fly mask is properly sized to your horse is key to receiving the maximum benefits of its superior design elements.

NOTE: Detailed instructions, tips and product care are included in each order. Should you have any questions, we are always here to help!

Cleaning and Maintenance
- Regularly inspect your horse’s eyes and face as well as clean the mask.
- Rinse out with a hose, or hand wash with mild liquid soap. Rinse well and allow it to air dry only.
- Check Your Fencing: Inspect regularly for sharp edges (i.e. Ag Fencing). This could result in a mask getting hooked or snagged. An easy fix is putting duct tape along the top of that type of fence line. It helps decrease the risk of a mask getting caught/torn.
- Replacement Quick-Release Clips: Clips can be purchased on our website.

I've been using the Equivisor mask for years, and nothing can compare to the quality and functionality. My black and white Paint has blue eyes, so it is very important that he has the ultimate UV protection your masks provide. Wouldn't use anything else!

We love this fly mask. Only one my sensitive mare will wear/keep on all day. I take it off every night so she’s gets a break from it. She has allergy issue to sunscreen that would make her rub her face raw and even bloody and her fur fall out but she wouldn’t wear a typically flymask for more than an hour to two. Then someone recommended this flymask! No more sunburnt nose or dealing with sunscreen! I highly recommend it. The nose piece could be wider to cover the sides of their nose though and the end of it has starting fraying from grazing. But any flymask that covers the nose is going to do that. Also the mask did rub her face at the seam from the main portion of the mask to the nose piece. I just hand sewed some fuzzy fabric on the inside of the seam and that solved that. All that being said this if our favorite flymask ever and I’m happy that my horse is happy and doing better because of it.

I have been using your products for many years. They are the only fly masks I use. I just received the mask with the nose as my mare would have flies crawling around on her nose even with repellent. I love the nose cover, it works great and my mare appreciates it too. I have referred many people to your products, and they like them too. Best of all, they stay on great. They might get turned around on very rare occasion, but they are still on.

Love the mask without nose net for turnout but wanted one with the nose net for riding as it is more effective with a net when riding. The nose net is stiff rather than pliable and I was worried that it would be uncomfortable however, after trail riding with the mask I found it to be fine for my horse and effective in preventing any headshaking minus a few mild flicks here and there. I have tested the mask on very bright sunny days, days with wind and bugs- all usually triggers for serious headshaking and found it quite effective. I would strongly recommend these masks. They look a bit bulky and odd but stay off of the horses eyes and lashes very well (make sure to fit properly) and are very reasonably priced.

We have a horse who has a white face and blue eye. She is very sensitive to sun burn. Since we got her a year and a half ago, we have tried several different brands of masks. They all came up short of our expectations. The mesh always collapsed against her most sensitive eye! A short time ago I was checking out my Facebook group "Hags with Nags." I love these fly mask -and so do my horses and donkeys. They’re easy to put and they STAY on. I’ve had my first ones for years with no rips or strap issues. My friends’ horses go through at least one mask, that gets ripped, snagged or lost, per season. The buckles for the straps add a nice safety feature. My Fjord gelding will actually “ask” for his mask by following me with his nose by my elbow until I go get his mask and put it on. Then, he happily trots off to go graze. When I go to the pasture to to put on masks, he comes right up - so happy to see his mask! The others all stand still to let me put on their masks - I think they like them too. The first time I tried the masks on my donkeys, they each stood there quietly while I adjusted the straps, etc. I think they all (and I) like the way the mask goes on - like a halter. I think the pricing is very reasonable for such a high quality product!!

My horse's ophthalmologist recommended this mask due to my paint having eye cancer. I like that there is just a strap over his head/behind his ears rather than mesh so that area doesn't get as sweaty. Within the first 24 hours however the stitching on the edge of the nose cover has already come loose. That part is frustrating.

I love the mask and I think my Appy/Freshian cross loves it too. I originally bought the Cashel full mask and it worked ok. The nostril areas on that mask kept getting caked with mud from his drinking and eating and required daily scrubbing with a curry comb to keep airflow, but the Equivisor has a better design. I thought the nylon straps around his poll, as opposed to the wider mesh strapping of the Cashel would be more uncomfortable for him, but the nylon straps are soft and he actually stopped rubbing his head on things in an attempt to remove his mask. I'm thinking I'm going to get 2 more regular visors with the seemingly difference in comfort, because my mare rubs her head incessantly while masked. He recently had cancer removal surgery and the vet said he needed more protection for his face than the Cashel was providing. His eyes definently seem less irritated at days end with the Equivisor. With the different nose design I was concerned it wouldn't provide enough coverage for his pink nostrils, but I'm not seeing any issues yet. Finally, I was slightly concerned about others saying customer service was poor, but I didn't get that response at all. I had trouble over the phone, so I emailed at 8pm. By morning, I had a response from Sue. She was amazing and took time to write a sufficient email addressing my concerns. I highly recommend this mask! My guy is a rescue and he's been through a lot. I just want to make sure he has the best of everything and this mask is top notch.

The “with ears” version of my EquiVisor was not available, back ordered, and I’d prefer that, but I love the permanent nose piece on the one I got for my horse who just had nose surgery. And so far he has not been able to remove the hood. Bravo!

Amazing I have two horses that get their fly masks off all the time. My mini loves to rub her eyes and then she ruins the masks too. She is going blind and so she needed something to protect her from the flies. I was so worried about putting another fly mask on her but noticed this one protected the eye area better. Equivisor Fly Masks... life savers! My colt is missing one eye due to some early life trauma, his remaining eye when I bought him was affected with uveitis and Glaucoma, poor guy probably lived with a constant migrane. I tried mask after mask, but they just couldn't hold up to his "abuse" Wyatt lives in a barbed wire enclosure and as we all know the grass is greener right there under or on the other side of the fence.... after his eye surgery I knew I needed something better so I started searching, and I found the Recovery Visors! But I was terrified that I would pay all that money just to have it scratched beyond use in his pen. Searching around the site I found the visor fly masks, and thought at least if these die quickly they were affordable. So I purchased 4 because I like the design and the Visor part is fantastic. Here we are a week or two later, and the first visor is a little torn up but no where near what the original ones I was using are, and the Visor still protects him from the glaring sun. No more migraines! No more weepy eye, I have a happy Colt again. Also his surgery for the glaucoma was a success, and I attribute a good part of the healing process to being able to keep the sun out of his eye. I also bought the full nose version for my White horse as he burns quite a bit, and the burns have gone away. And not come back since we started using that mask. I love that I can leave these on without halters, knowing my little prospects are safe and likely won't get hung up in the mask. They are both stud colts and play over the fence, quite often the target is their masks. I haven't found one in the dirt yet! Thank you for providing such a fantastic product at a competitive price!

We love it! My piebald blue eyed mare can’t see in the bright Florida sunlight with out it! Plus it protects her pink nose. I use the version with the nose for regular day in the pasture. Great Improvement I was delighted to find that one of the two weaknesses I found in my initial experience with these masks has been corrected. The outer Velcro strip has been covered with a good quality smooth nylon webbing for reinforcement. I just had to replace a mask of the previous version because the Velcro strip was ripped off by one of my horses who is very hard on fly masks. This is a major improvement to a great product! The only other weakness I have found is in the plastic buckles. That same horse had also broken one of the buckles off that same mask so I had already had to replace that. I know there are similar buckles made of metal (used on dog collars) that may be suitable for this use. They still have lasted longer than any other fly mask I have found.

Equivizor fly mask This is my first time buying a fly mask from here and I am very happy.
