The glasses seem to be helping him, he is not as reluctant to go forward. They fit well, conforming to his face, he does not seem to mind wearing them. I was told (by a friend ) it would take a few weeks for him to get used to them. I have only had them for 2 weeks, things may get better.

My horse has been diagnosed with recurrent uveitis. My vet said he has to stay out of the sun - i am a trail rider so need a good way for 100% UV blocking as I ride. These should do the trick. He lowered his head and let me put them on right away. I haven’t had a chance to ride yet but have high hopes!

Harry Potter has uveitis in both eyes and he wears his goggles when out in the sun. He had a cyclosporine implant and he wore his Equivisor Surgical mask afterwards. He also has an Equivisor sunshield mask and several Equivisor darted masks. All work beautifully and do the job intended!

Since my horse has moon blindness I must ride him in a fly mask to protect his eyes from sun. I think his sight is impaired with most fly masks so your goggles seemed to be a good answer to my concerns. We rode yesterday on dirt roads and mountain trails for more than two hours and he wore the goggles without issue. He didn't hesitate crossing creeks or going over down trees and it seemed he was looking at his surroundings more. Love the product.

I have been treating my horse, who suffers from extreme photosensitivity, or Head Shaking Syndrome, with drugs during the last two seasons. Unfortunately, when I started him on the medication this March 15th, (the start of the season for photo sensitive horses), it just wasn't working. Riding him on trail and in the arena was unpleasant for both he and I. After discussions with my vet, he consulted with an eye specialist in his practice and she recommended your website. I ordered the dark tint, eVysor UV cancelling goggles and they work wonderfully!! I am so pleased! Bozley was born with a congenital eye issue. I still don't know the extent as all exams show a healthy eye, except it is smaller. He has always had depth perception issues on his right side and been spooky of shadows. Even a change in ground color would cause him to get worried. A friend has these for her mare with ERU so I did more research and wondered if it would help with his depth perception issues. I recieved them just yesterday and am amazed at the transformation from my normally nervous, pushy, insecure boy, to one who packed kids around today like a 20 yr old school horse. These are AMAZING and a huge game changer for him.

My mustang-shetland pony mix, Frank, has been tortured by flies around his eyes out on the trail. I've tried vaseline in the angle of the eye, fly spray carefully wiped around his face, etc, but he continuously tosses and shakes his head instead of watching the terrain. We have the eVysor fly mask, which is wonderful in the pasture, but isn't the best choice with our head gear. The goggles have been a godsend! Frank looks so cool, I just want to love on him instead of riding (kidding). He is totally comfortable on the trail now, and I don't have to worry about eye injury, trail dust, etc. I wasn't sure the goggles would fit, since he is a pony, but the flexibility of the goggles allows them to wrap around well, and the straps are highly adjustable. He is 12.2 hands. His eVysor is pony sized, and it fits him perfectly.

My Morgan horse has light blue eyes. I have him wearing a soft UV cover during the day to protect his eyesight. Well he is having trouble adjusting from outside light to the lightning in the barn. I bought these because my horse has a low tolerance for bugs getting into/ around her eyes while riding. She becomes a head tosser and will become pretty distressed. My mare and I love them. Since she had surgery to remove a lump on the underside of her eyelid, She has had a vision problem, in that she "sees" things that are not there. When that happens, she flips out if standing for the farrier, or stops dead from a gallop.
A friend uses it for her gelding, who has moon blindness, and I borrowed hers to see if it would help my mare, and surprisingly, it really does. She is relaxed when wearing them on our trails.

My daughters barrel/pole horse has moon blindness. We had to have one eye removed 3 years ago and we are noticing some of the same problems coming back effecting his other eye recently. One of the biggest issues is light sensitivity. At rodeos he would freak out from bright sunshine coming in in parts of the covered arena. We foond the goggles online as soon as they cane in we went try them out and seem to have solved our problem! Sun light did not effect him at all while wearing them and he felt so much more at ease and comfortable. This weekend we have another rodeo at the same arena so they will be put to the real test soon!

My five year old quarter horse was diagnosed with congenital cataracts last year and is 2/3 blind in each eye. The vet suggested we get the dark tint goggles and try those. Today was our 1st ride with the eVisor uv tint shaded goggles and he did great! This is our 3rd Protective Pet product and he loves them. He is 4 weeks out from surgery to remove squamous cell carcinoma from his right eye and these products helped him from recovery to riding, we used the recovery visor, in the stall he wears the solar visor and now his goggles. Amazing product, well made! this fit my 17hh friesian TBx with a large but more refined head. He takes a "full" size halter, not draft, and the full size google was fine. My horse has limited vision in his right eye and is light sensitive. He seemed really happy with his 'new view' when we tried them on, they are light and conform well to the horses head.... and they look so extremely cool. NOTE: I would NOT leave these googles on a horse in a trailer or tied to something they could rub on or hit... or in a stall, because the horse could possibly break the lens, that would become very dangerous to the eye. Used as intended, this is an incredibly well designed, comfortable and effective product. I love it and I hope they add the option of a scratch resistant coating soon, they do scratch easily.

Bart seems to like wearing these and he is a lot calmer with them on. He has a granulation over his left pupil and I needed the sunnies to stop this pupil dilating as when it is bright light he cannot see out of his left eye. He couldnt see through the mesh hood that I tried and that wasnt the effect I was after. He doesn't try to get these off and so far so good he has stopped stressing. I recommend these they fit well and don't seem to bother him at all.

Mocha is a 7 yr old Appy X mare which started to develop a white mark in her one eye. She was diagnosed with the start of a cataract in that eye due to uveitis. She had never exhibited any signs associated with uveitis. We took her to see an eye specialist at O.V.C. in Guelph. They recommended sun protection for her eyes as well as Previcox to slow down the progression of this. Although there was no sign of a cataract in her other eye, the doctors felt it would also develop cataracts.
I tried a different sun shade which she objected to wearing. Mocha wears the Equivisor without any problems almost as if she wasn't wearing anything.

My horse, Skylar, and I compete in mounted archery and he has reoccurring uveitis in both eyes. This makes him very sensitive to the sun. Skylar is a calm, cool, steady eddy type horse but I’ve noticed that he’s been acting out a little on trail rides and been a little more looky than normal. I have always ridden in fly masks but I was concerned that this was no longer enough. I heard about these goggles and thought I would give them a try. Skylar is back to his same steady eddy self and seems much happier in these! I have a cremello colored Icelandic mare "Vinda" . She has pale blue eyes with pink skin. She squints all the time in the bright light. I have purchased a mesh visor for her that works pretty good. The UV riding goggles I purchased, I have tried once, so far they help my Vinda a lot. We are still in the testing stage. My concern is that as we trail ride and that they may get scratched. The eVysor is great, comfortable for my horse he didn’t even react to them being on, he rode nice with them and it helps his head shake. And it also is a plus that he looks really cute in them too ☺️ ( he might say he looks cool )

Excellent product. Doesn't move on my horse's face even while cantering. I like to keep his eyes protected at all times because he has uveitis in both eyes. Plus, he looks cool :)

Boo is a lovely Cremello QH with pretty blue eyes. He seemed to be squinting a lot on bright days and things would sneak up on him and give him wee frights. I was also concerned about sunburn around his eyes when riding him on sunny days - the sun down here in NZ can be pretty intense. I didn't like the thought of putting sunscreen products around his eyes. He has a paddock UV hood, but its no good to ride in and he bumped into the wheelbarrow the other day, so I know it impacts on his vision a bit. I searched for a good riding product solution and these ingenious horse sunglasses came up. Boo has taken to them like a duck to water. He initially shook his head mildly for the first couple of minutes and then forgot about them. His eyes are wide open when he has them on. The photo is taken on a bright, cloudless, sunny Spring day and you can make out in the photo that his eyes are very alert. I think this product has given our lovely blue eyed boy some comfort he really needed - he genuinely seems to like having his new sunnies on and works very well in them. I highly recommend this product.

I had bought a solar vizor that was very effective in negating my gelding's photic head shaking syndrome in the field. I bought the goggles in dark tint to block 100% UV light, as soon as they became available. I can now ride my horse again! I had retired him because the HSS made him unrideable. Three days in a row of riding with his goggles and no head shaking. I adjusted them for his small head and they stayed secure while riding. Thank you for a great product.
