My mare Bailey has suffered from ERU and corneal ulcers for the past two years. The pain and itching have been awful, causing her to scratch, which brought on MORE ulcers! This recovery visor saved the day but, unfortunately, not her eye. In March we had to have her eye removed. The visor saved us again, post surgery. She has to wear it for the rest of her life, to prevent more corneal ulcers in her only remaining eye. I've had to buy THREE of these so far. I'm about to buy a fourth. I only wish they were cheaper, or I could get a discount for buying so many.

After a long battle with eye injuries due to scratching and underlying glaucoma I was desperate to find an eye cover that would protect my pony from herself. Not many are available in mini size, but this one comes in many sizes! Since I ordered this visor and subsequently the padding set, she has managed to heal both of her corneas. (With meds, of course). We are now able to adequately treat her glaucoma/uveitis. The amount of dirt we find on the mask protector/fly mask eye areas emphasize how much damage this has saved her delicate eyes. I am thrilled with this product and the excellent customer service I have experienced.
